Grow
We cultivate select dye plants in our garden, tending them through the seasons.
Forage
We gather botanicals from the landscape around us, ethical wildcrafting with respect to the land and the animals we share them with. We do not take more then 10% of healthy thriving wild populations of plants. We listen and tend to the wild spaces and do not harvest at-risk plants.
Source
We are intentional about where our dyes come from, prioritizing what we grow, buying from reputable farmers + dye suppliers and ethically harvesting only what is in abundance.
Dye
Each piece is dyed in small batches, using plant, animal and mineral based pigments. No two dye baths are the same, no two pieces will ever be exactly alike.
Rooted in the garden
My story begins in the garden…
Long before I ever worked with cloth or color, I was raised among plants. My mother and grandmothers were gardeners, caretakers and plant whisperers who taught me to see plants as companions, teachers and healers.
Dyed silk satin scarf. 21.5 × 21.5 inch measurement. Dyed with Logwood.
Each piece is one of a kind.
Our garments are hand-dyed using natural dyes, creating subtle variations in color, texture, and pattern that cannot be replicated. You may notice gentle shifts in tone, dye speckles, watermarks, or other markings that emerge naturally during the dyeing process. These details are part of the garment's story and reflect the beauty of working with natural materials and traditional techniques.
